We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Luxury Print & Packaging Sales & Operations Specialist to join our team in Barrie, Ontario.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who understands both the business of selling premium print and packaging and the operational expertise required to deliver it successfully.
About the Role The successful candidate will play a key role in growing Esotek's client base while managing projects from initial inquiry through production and delivery.
You will work directly with clients to understand their needs, develop solutions, prepare quotations, coordinate production, manage suppliers, monitor timelines and quality, and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard.
This position requires someone who can confidently move between sales, estimating, project management, production coordination, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within print, packaging, luxury goods, retail, hospitality, beauty, fashion, and related markets.
- Generate leads through prospecting, networking, referrals, industry contacts, and existing relationships.
- Consult with clients to understand their objectives, budgets, specifications, and timelines.
- Recommend appropriate print, packaging, materials, structures, and finishing solutions.
- Prepare accurate estimates, quotations, proposals, and project timelines.
- Manage projects from initial concept through production and final delivery.
- Coordinate with clients, designers, printers, packaging manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners.
- Review artwork, proofs, specifications, dielines, materials, and finishing requirements.
- Source and negotiate materials and production services while maintaining quality and profitability.
- Monitor production schedules, costs, margins, quality, and delivery dates.
- Proactively identify and resolve production or delivery issues.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, pricing, purchase orders, and customer records.
- Follow up with clients after completion to encourage repeat business and identify additional opportunities.
- Build long-term client relationships and contribute directly to Esotek's growth.
- Help improve internal processes, supplier performance, pricing strategies, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in print, packaging, print sales, production, account management, or a related industry.
- Experience combining sales and operational/project management responsibilities is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of commercial and specialty printing processes.
- Knowledge of premium and luxury packaging production.
- Experience with estimating, quoting, costing, margins, and project management.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer-service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, customers, suppliers, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to understand print specifications, artwork requirements, dielines, and production processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take ownership and make decisions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/project-management software.
- Valid driver's licence is an asset.
