Hours of Work: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Reporting to the Director of Specialized Services & Education, the Manager, Clinical Education & Professional Practice supports organization-wide leadership for clinical education, professional practice, workforce development, onboarding, competency development, knowledge mobilization, and clinical documentation excellence across CMHA Ottawa.
This role leads the development and implementation of organization-wide learning and professional practice initiatives that strengthen workforce capability, advance evidence-informed care, and promote excellence in mental health and addictions services. As a key organizational leader, the Manager collaborates with program leaders, People & Culture, Quality & Privacy, and operational teams to build a culture of continuous learning, accountability, innovation, and high-quality client care.
The incumbent shapes professional practice, clinical education, and workforce development across one of Ottawa's leading community mental health organizations. This role will influence organizational learning, support clinical excellence, and contribute to innovative mental health and addictions services that make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals, families, and communities.

Essential Minimum Qualifications
Education: Master's degree, complete or in progress, in a health, social services, education, or related discipline (e.g., Social Work, Nursing, Education, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Health Administration, Adult Education, or related field). Registration and membership in good standing with a relevant professional regulatory body, where applicable (e.g., Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, College of Nurses of Ontario, College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario, College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario, or equivalent).
Experience: Minimum five (5) years of progressive leadership, clinical practice, education, or professional practice experience in mental health, addictions, community health, healthcare, or a related human services sector. Minimum three (3) years of experience in staff education, clinical supervision, qualified practice, quality improvement, workforce development, or organizational learning.
