Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Residential Construction to lead and oversee the successful delivery of residential building projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities

- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of residential construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately for seamless project execution.
- Manage and direct in-house architectural design inc oncjunction with the President.
- Utilize construction management software (BuidlerTrend) to track progress, manage documentation, and control costs effectively.
- Oversee procurement processes including construction estimating and modeling to ensure accurate material take-offs and resource allocation.
- Develop detailed project schedules using PM software or to optimize workflow and meet critical deadlines.




- Monitor on-site activities for safety compliance while maintaining a focus on quality assurance throughout all phases of construction.
- Manage project teams by assigning tasks efficiently, providing guidance on schematics interpretation, and ensuring effective time management across all stages.

Skills

- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding complex schematics for residential buildings.
- Experience with construction management software (training for BuilderTrend specifically will be provided.
- Experience with AutoCad and indeally with Chief Architect softwares.
- Expertise in construction estimating processes to develop accurate budgets and cost controls.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings with precision to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Demonstrated project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.
- Extensive construction experience with a solid understanding of residential building practices and standards.
- Excellent time management skills combined with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.
