Position Overview

We are looking for a Project Manager with strong experience in automotive manufacturing, engine production lines, and manufacturing equipment projects . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing projects involving engine manufacturing equipment, including die casting, machining, and assembly operations.

This position will be responsible for managing projects from the initial concept and engineering phase through equipment manufacturing, procurement, installation, commissioning, and production launch .

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage end-to-end manufacturing equipment projects from concept through installation and production readiness.
- Work closely with Production Engineering teams, equipment suppliers, and global vendors to ensure successful project execution.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resources, milestones, and risk mitigation plans.
- Support the development and specification of engine manufacturing line equipment .
- Work with engine die casting, machining, and assembly line equipment and support equipment specification documentation.
- Develop and review equipment concepts using SolidWorks .
- Read and understand pneumatic and hydraulic drawings related to manufacturing equipment.
- Perform basic engineering calculations to support machine component sizing and equipment development.
- Coordinate equipment procurement, manufacturing, installation, and production readiness activities.
- Lead and support FAT, SAT, commissioning, production trials, and launch activities .
- Identify equipment and process issues, analyze root causes,



and implement appropriate engineering improvements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and engineering teams to ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Support equipment optimization and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Technical Skills
- AutoCAD – Mandatory
- MS Office – Mandatory
- SolidWorks
- CATIA V5
- Pneumatic and hydraulic system drawings
- Manufacturing equipment design and specification
- Engine manufacturing / powertrain production equipment
- Die casting, machining, and assembly equipment

Preferred Experience
- Automotive manufacturing or automotive engineering experience.
- Engine or powertrain manufacturing line experience.
- Experience with die casting and machining equipment.
- Experience developing equipment specification documents.
- Experience managing equipment suppliers and procurement activities.
- Experience with FAT, SAT, commissioning, production trials, and equipment launch.
- Experience taking projects from concept → design → manufacturing → installation → production launch .
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, resources, and risks.
- Experience coordinating with global suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.

Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Solid project management experience within manufacturing or engineering environments.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment and engineering processes.
- Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
