Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Marina Yard and Shrink Wrap Attendant along with Boat Launch Attendant, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and efficiency of marina operations. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for preparing boats through shrink wrapping, managing boat launches and recoveries, and maintaining the yard’s organization. Your mechanical knowledge and rigging skills will help you troubleshoot equipment and assist boat owners with their needs.

Responsibilities

- Assist with shrink wrapping boats to protect them from weather elements, ensuring proper techniques and materials are used for secure coverage.
- Safely launch and remove boats using marina equipment
- Move block and secure boats throughout the marina property.
- Perform routine maintenance on marina equipment, including rigging systems and mechanical components, to ensure optimal operation.
- Support boat owners during launch and recovery processes, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard area, including storage of shrink wrap materials and tools.
- Conduct safety inspections around the yard and launch areas,



identifying hazards and reporting issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate daily marina activities efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

- Previous experience with Launching and removing boats is strongly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and effectively.
- Experience operating trailers or other boat-moving equipment is an asset.
- Boat shrink wrapping experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to operate boat launch machinery safely and efficiently.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on safety standards and quality workmanship.
- Valid boating or marina operation certifications are a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary training is expected.
