Enabled Talent builds inclusion technology that connects people with disabilities and underserved communities to education, employment, and participation in everyday life.
We’re looking for a Marketing and Communications Intern to join us in Sudbury , working directly with our founding team, including the CEO and Chief Growth Officer. You’ll help turn our work into clear stories, useful content, and campaigns that reach the people and organizations we serve.
Your ideas will contribute to real projects, with direct feedback and opportunities to build your portfolio.
What you’ll do
- Create content for LinkedIn, newsletters, our website, and other communication channels.
- Help plan and maintain a content calendar around product updates, events, and community initiatives.
- Turn interviews, research, and project milestones into engaging stories, with appropriate consent.
- Support campaigns that introduce our products to education institutions, employers, and community partners.
- Develop presentations, simple graphics, short videos, and promotional materials.
- Help promote events and coordinate marketing activities with partners.
- Track engagement and campaign results, and recommend practical improvements.
- Apply accessibility principles to content, including clear language, captions, and image descriptions.
What you’ll bring
- A post-secondary qualification in marketing, communications, business, journalism, design, or a related field.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to explain ideas clearly.
- Creativity, initiative,
and an interest in understanding different audiences.
- Familiarity with social media and tools such as Canva; basic video-editing experience is welcome.
- An organized approach to managing content, deadlines, and feedback.
- Curiosity about accessible communication and respectful storytelling.
- Availability to work in person in Sudbury for 30 hours across four days each week .
Placement eligibility
- Aged 15–30 at the start of the placement.
- A post-secondary graduate.
- A Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person granted refugee status, legally entitled to work in Canada.
