Job Profile The Material Handler ensures that the correct parts are where they need to be on the shop floor to maximize production efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities

- Obtain correct parts from inventory and deliver them to appropriate location
- Ensure parts are available when needed on production floor
- Ensure all part transactions are processed properly and with a high degree of accuracy
- Haul out chip-bin and waste bins daily/as required
- Write non-conformance reports if cleanliness and deburring on parts is inadequate
- Provide general labour/assistance to production floor
- Work closely with warehousing and shipping
- Communicate with other departments to ensure schedule and quality needs are met
- Gain working knowledge of the procurement process




- Understand the reporting process in regard to Safety and Quality

- Identify and record non-conformities and participate in their resolution
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Recommend improvements and develop improvement plans in production methods,

Compensation

- Position pays approximately $20 - $25 hourly - salaries vary depending on various factors, such as skill, ability, experience and qualifications for the role
- Overtime may be available

Shifts Available

- 4 x 10 hour shifts Monday - Thursday
- 4 X 10 hour shifts Tuesday - Friday

Allocation of shifts is based on company needs Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $17.00-$25.00 per hour
