Join the University of Calgary's Facilities Management team as a full-time Mechanic for the Motor Pool. This role focuses on servicing university vehicles and equipment efficiently and safely. The Mechanics plays a crucial role within the Department of Grounds and Roads, ensuring the fleet is maintained and operational.

You will perform essential repairs, diagnose issues in various systems, and manage maintenance schedules for on-road and off-road vehicles. Your expertise will help provide a reliable workplace for all campus users. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct routine service and repair for University vehicles
- Diagnose and test engines, braking, and electrical systems
- Schedule and organize equipment maintenance and repairs
- Maintain accurate records of all Motor Pool services
- Collaborate with Facilities Management units and respond to emergencies Requirements:
- Alberta Automotive Service Technician Journeyman Certificate
- 3-5 years of hands-on mechanic experience
- Proficient with vehicle diagnostic equipment
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with good driving record
- Comfortable lifting and working with power tools Utilize your mechanical skills to ensure the University of Calgary Fleet remains in top condition.
