Summary

As a Medical Administrator at Lighthouse Medical Imaging, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. Located in Scarborough, with a high proportion of Chinese-speaking patients, fluency in Mandarin AND Cantonese along with English is critical for this role to ensure smooth operations within our clinics while delivering exceptional customer service to our patients. There is also an opportunity to perform OBSP clerical work for our breast imaging program, and candidates with experience in this area are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

- Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency.
- Handle phone inquiries and provide information regarding services offered.
- Maintain electronic medical records accurately and ensure confidentiality.




- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and data entry as needed.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

Requirements

- Experience working in a medical office environment or other customer-facing service environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is helpful.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology to assist with patient inquiries is helpful.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced workplace.
