We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. Your expertise will support clinical staff by managing administrative tasks, coordinating appointments, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a positive first impression of the practice
- Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls and scheduling appointments
- Maintain electronic medical records and other electronic health record systems with precision and confidentiality
- Assist with billing, insurance verification, and patient check-in/check-out procedures
- Support clinical staff by preparing exam rooms, updating patient information, and handling medical documentation
- Perform Blood draws and urine tests
- Coordinate appointment scheduling for multiple providers while balancing urgent needs and routine visits
- Handle administrative duties such as filing, faxing, scanning documents, and managing office supplies
Skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records system
- Solid knowledge of medical terminology to accurately document patient interactions and procedures
- Experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental office environment is highly desirable
- Prior medical or dental office experience demonstrating familiarity with front desk operations
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with patients, staff, and insurance companies
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems confidently in a busy office setting
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in managing schedules and records
