CMHA Kelowna & District seeks a Mental Health and Substance Use Clinician for its Foundry Kelowna team. This casual role involves clinical counseling and solution-focused care for youth. You will provide assessments and support services Monday to Friday, with extended hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The role requires a Master's degree and at least two years of counseling experience.
Key responsibilities include using evidence-based modalities, facilitating group therapy, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver integrated care. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual treatment using CBT, mindfulness, and DBT
- Facilitate group therapy workshops and psychosocial care
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for care planning
- Mentor other team members and practicum students
- Assist clients with navigation and referrals Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling Psychology
- Minimum 2 years of counseling experience
- Criminal Record Check clearance required
- Excellent communication skills with youth and families
