Manage and maintain WebSphere Application Server environments to ensure system stability and reliability Configure deploy and troubleshoot WebSphere applications and components Monitor middleware infrastructure proactively to identify and resolve potential issues Collaborate with development and operations teams for seamless integration and deployment Participate in capacity planning patching and upgrading of WebSphere servers Implement security configurations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards within middleware platforms Document processes configurations and standard operating procedures related to WebSphere administration Support automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide 24x7 support for WebSphere middleware to maintain system uptime and reliability.
- Install configure and maintain WebSphere Application Server and associated middleware components.
- Perform root cause analysis for middleware incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Plan and execute middleware patches upgrades and configuration changes following change management protocols.
- Monitor middleware performance and tune configurations for optimal efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve issues and support deployment activities.
- Drive automation efforts using scripting languages and tools to streamline middleware operations.
- Ensure compliance with security policies audit requirements and regulatory standards.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance within the WebSphere Administration skill family.

Compensation range: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
