Ridgeway Marketing & Consulting Inc. is a growing startup working across music, media production, marketing, creative content, and emerging AI technologies.
We are building our creative team and are looking for a Music Producer Intern who is a recent graduate, emerging producer, or passionate music creator looking to gain practical industry experience.
This is an opportunity to work alongside a growing creative team and gain hands-on experience in music production, recording, content creation, and music for media.
The Opportunity
We are looking for someone who is passionate about music and wants to develop their skills in a real working environment.
This opportunity is particularly suitable for recent graduates and emerging producers, including graduates of Metalworks Institute and other music production/audio programs, who are looking to build their professional experience and portfolio.
You will have the opportunity to work on projects involving:
- Music production and beat creation
- Recording and editing
- Music for video and film
- Background music and soundtracks
- Social media and digital content
- Music marketing and promotional content
- Original music concepts
- AI-assisted music and emerging creative technologies
Responsibilities Depending on your experience and training, you may assist with:
- Creating and developing original music
- Beat making and arranging
- Recording and editing audio
- Working with vocals and instruments
- Basic mixing and mastering
- Preparing music for video and digital content
- Supporting music production sessions
- Organizing music and audio files
- Working with producers, artists, editors, and other creative team members
- Exploring AI tools and new technologies in music production
- Contributing creative ideas to projects
- Maintaining organized project files and versions
Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone who:
- Is a recent graduate or recent student of music production, audio production, recording arts, music technology, or a related program
- Metalworks Institute graduates and recent alumni are encouraged to apply
- Is passionate about creating music
- Has hands-on experience with at least one professional DAW such as Logic Pro, Ableton Live, FL Studio, Pro Tools, Cubase, or similar
- Is interested in recording, arranging, editing, and mixing
- Is creative and willing to experiment
- Is comfortable learning new technology and AI tools
- Is organized and able to manage project files
- Is reliable, professional, and willing to learn
- Is comfortable working as part of a creative team
Professional experience is not required. Your portfolio, music samples, creativity, attitude, and willingness to learn are important to us.
