WE ARE HIRING ON-CALL SUBSTITUTE ECE/ECEA

We are looking for a caring, responsible, and reliable On-Call Substitute ECE/ECEA to join our childcare team!

Position: On-Call Substitute ECE/ECEA

Employment Type: On-Call / Casual

Qualifications

- Valid BC ECE or ECEA certification
- Previous experience working in a childcare setting is an asset
- Passionate about working with and caring for young children
- Warm, caring, responsible, and dependable
- Robust communication and teamwork skills
- Versatile availability and willingness to work on an on-call basis
- Well-versed in BC Child Care Licensing Rules and Regulations and able to follow and maintain licensing requirements
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification
- Able to provide a Criminal Record Check

Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children
- Support age-appropriate play, learning, and daily activities
- Ensure children’s health, safety, and well-being
- Assist with daily classroom routines and transitions
- Work collaboratively with educators and other staff members




- Provide classroom and childcare support when regular staff members are absent
- Follow all BC Child Care Licensing Regulations, centre policies, and procedures
