We are a small Optometry office conveniently located 2 minutes from Canada Line station (Broadway-City Hall). We are looking for a recent long-term Medical Office Assistant to join our team! We strive to provide the best patient care and customer service and our new team member will be tasked with upholding our 5-star reputation. Experience as an MOA is preferred; we are willing to provide training to the ideal candidate.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

- Honest, punctual, professional work ethic
- Excellent phone mannerisms
- Excellent patient communication skills
- Fluency in written and verbal English
- Great time management and organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Willingness to learn some new technical skills around the office
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Able to work with minimum supervision and is pro-active




- Have basic knowledge of office software (ex. Microsoft Word, PDF viewer, Ring Central, email, etc)
- Experience with Optosys is an asset
- Ability to speak a second language is an asset
- Previous experience in eye care or MOA training is preferred

Dailies duties include:
- Patient scheduling
- Answering phone calls
- Greeting incoming patients in a professional and pleasant manner
- Pre-testing patients and moving them to exam rooms
- Assisting your colleagues with tasks as needed

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
