Duties

- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly and answering their questions with enthusiasm
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales transactions efficiently
- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision and integrity
- Assist customers with product demos and explain features to enhance their purchasing experience
- Support merchandising efforts by organizing products on shelves and ensuring displays are attractive and well-stocked
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending relevant items to increase sales opportunities
- Maintain organized checkout areas, manage queues effectively,



and ensure timely service during busy periods

Skills

- Multilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred; familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual skills enhance customer interactions
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and giving correct change
- Excellent customer service skills combined with phone etiquette for engaging in positive interactions
- Organizational skills to keep the sales area tidy and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Time management abilities to prioritize duties during peak hours while maintaining quality service
- Ability to perform product demos confidently and assist in merchandising efforts effectively
