PDG Contracting is looking for a reliable and hardworking Painter/General Labourer to join our team as we establish and grow our operations in London, Ontario.

We primarily complete residential and commercial interior and exterior painting, with occasional drywall installation and repair work. We are aiming to provide full-time hours; however, hours may occasionally be reduced or part-time during the slower season. Weekly hours will depend on project demand, weather, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and sprayers
- Protect floors, furniture, landscaping, and surrounding surfaces
- Assist with residential and commercial painting projects
- Complete minor drywall installation and repairs when required
- Load, unload, set up, and clean job-site equipment
- Maintain clean, organized, and protected job sites
- Follow instructions and complete work efficiently
- Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers





Qualifications:
- Previous painting or construction experience is preferred
- Drywall installation, taping, mudding, or repair experience is an asset but is not required
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a crew
- Comfortable working on ladders and performing physically demanding work
- Able to lift approximately 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout London and the surrounding area
- Valid driver’s licence is an asset
- Professional attitude and respectful conduct while working on customers’ properties

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
