White Horse Art & Design Center is currently looking for Part-Time Art & Design Instructors to join our teaching team in Richmond, BC.

We provide art and design education for elementary and high school students, primarily Grades 8–12. We are looking for instructors with solid artistic skills and a solid professional foundation.

The position may involve teaching Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Interaction design, Game design, Animation, Graphic design, or other related areas,depending on the instructor’s background and expertise.

Responsibilities

- Teach drawing, painting, And/Or design courses to students in Grades 8–12
- Demonstrate artistic and design techniques during class
- Explain technical concepts and creative processes clearly
- Guide students through class exercises and individual projects
- Provide individualized instruction based on each student’s skill level and needs
- Review, critique, and provide constructive feedback on students’ work

Compensation & Schedule

$26–$40 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and subject area.

Flexible scheduling — teaching hours can be arranged based on the instructor’s availability and class schedule.
