We’re looking for someone for a unique part-time position that combines website development/coding with hands-on custom picture framing.

This position is approximately 10–20 hours per week, with some flexibility around school or other commitments.

Pay: $20–$22 per hour, depending on experience.

The most important requirement for this position is website development and coding ability. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with an existing website and codebase and can help us continue developing our online store and other digital projects.

Our current website/store uses technologies including:

- Next.js
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- PostgreSQL
- GitHub
- Railway
- Stripe

Website and development work may include adding new features, improving product and pricing systems, working on shipping and checkout, fixing bugs, working with APIs and Stripe integrations, database changes, improving the customer and admin experience, and helping develop internal tools or automation. Previous coding/web development experience is required. Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React/Next.js would be especially valuable. Experience with SQL/PostgreSQL, GitHub, Node.js, APIs, Stripe, or e-commerce would also be an asset.





The other side of the position will involve helping with custom picture framing in our shop.

No previous picture framing experience is required. We will teach you the framing side of the job.

You may learn things such as cutting and joining frames, cutting matboard, mounting artwork, fitting and finishing frames, canvas stretching, shadowboxes, and other hands-on shop work.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys both working on a computer and working with their hands. Attention to detail, accurate measuring, problem solving, and a willingness to learn are key.

The schedule can be flexible, particularly for a university or college student, but we are looking for someone who can make a regular weekly commitment.
