Full-Time/Part-Time - Personal Assistant / Companion – Downtown Calgary

I am looking for a kind, reliable and responsible person to provide approximately 30-40 hours per week of personal assistance and companionship to an independent adult male living in downtown Calgary who has some visual impairment and is unable to drive but is independent in movement.

This is a great opportunity for someone who requires flexibility with their schedule.

Responsibilities include:

- Driving to medical and other appointments using my vehicle
- Grocery shopping and other errands
- Preparing simple, healthy meals
- Walking and caring for my 2 small dogs
- Accompanying me on walks and outings
- Helping with day-to-day household tasks
- Housekeeping and laundry as needed
- Organizing groceries and household supplies
- Providing companionship and assistance with activities outside the home




- Helping me navigate situations where my vision makes things difficult

What I’m looking for:

- Kind, patient and dependable
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable around dogs
- A safe and confident driver with a valid driver's licence
- Comfortable driving my mid-size SUV
- Able to work independently and use valuable judgment
- Respectful of privacy and confidentiality

Position: Flexible hours - 30-40 hours per week

Location: Luxury condo in Eau Claire area, Calgary

Vehicle: A vehicle is provided for work-related transportation

Compensation: Negotiable
