Garden City Pest Control is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Pest Control Technician to join our team in Victoria, BC. This role is ideal for a dedicated problem-solver who enjoys helping clients and contributing to the growth of a local small business.

Position Overview The Pest Control Technician inspects residential and commercial properties, identifies pest activity, executes targeted management treatments, and advises clients on long-term preventative solutions. You will represent Garden City Pest Control professionally while delivering safe, thorough, and high-quality service across every job.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect residential and commercial properties for active or potential pest issues.
- Identify pest problems and recommend appropriate treatment solutions.
- Execute pest control treatments using company-approved methods and safety products.
- Educate customers on preventative maintenance and follow-up recommendations.
- Complete accurate service reports and treatment documentation in a timely manner.
- Comply with company policies, provincial regulations, and safety protocols.
- Maintain assigned company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a clean, organized state.
- Provide courteous, professional, and respectful customer service on every call.
- Work independently following completion of initial paired training.

Required Qualifications

- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Current residence in or near Victoria, British Columbia.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal,



and active listening skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Adaptable mindset with a strong willingness to learn new skills.
- Excellent time-management and organizational habits to handle daily appointment schedules.
- Physical capability to handle heavy materials and safely maneuver tall ladders.
- Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, and in tight or confined spaces when required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Valid Structural Pest Control License (Asset).
- Prior background in landscaping, trades, or property maintenance.
