Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and maintaining accurate medication records
- Prepare and package medications for distribution, including compounding for creams, suspensions and capsules
- Label and organize medication inventory
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries or concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Pharmacy Assistant)
-Pharmacy assistant training (preferred)
- Completion of a pharmacy technician training program or equivalent work experience
- Certification as a pharmacy technician (preferred)
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and record-keeping
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
- Familiarity with compounding, pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices
Skills:
- Proficient in medication administration and dosage calculations
- Experience working in a pharmacy or clinical setting is highly desirable
