Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Pharmacy Cashier/Customer Service Associate to join our dynamic and fun team. In this role, you will be the friendly face greeting patients, processing transactions accurately, and supporting retail pharmacy operations. Your enthusiasm and commitment to excellent patient care will help ensure a positive experience for every customer who walks into our store!
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with their purchases and inquiries
- Process payments efficiently using the point-of-sale system, ensuring accuracy in cash, credit, or insurance transactions
- Support pharmacy staff by verifying prescriptions and managing medication pick-up processes
- Maintain organized checkout areas and ensure cleanliness of the customer service space
- Provide basic information about pharmacy services, including medication pickup procedures and store policies
- Assist with inventory management by restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to all safety protocols related to patient information and medication handling
Experience
- Prior experience working in a retail pharmacy setting or is preferred.
- Experience as a or familiarity with front store merchandise is highly advantageous
- Strong customer care skills with a focus on compassionate service and clear communication.
