Role Description The Pharmacy Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Calgary, AB, responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations and ensuring safe, efficient medication dispensing. This role includes supervising pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy staff, managing prescriptions and inventory, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.

The Pharmacy

Manager will provide clinical guidance on medication therapy, oversee immunization services, and support integrated care with the medical clinics. The position also involves optimizing workflow, mentoring team members, supporting patient counseling, and contributing to a positive, inclusive,



and patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice, including clinical decision-making and patient counseling.
- Experience supervising or collaborating with Pharmacy Technicians to ensure accurate and efficient workflow.
- Strong competence in managing Prescription processes, including verification, dispensing, and regulatory documentation.
- Knowledge and practical experience in Immunization services, including vaccine administration and documentation.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Pharmacist in Alberta, with good standing in the appropriate regulatory body.
- Proven leadership, team management, and conflict-resolution skills in a pharmacy or clinical setting.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
- Experience with pharmacy management systems, inventory control, and quality assurance programs.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Calgary, AB, and adapt to a fast-paced, cooperative healthcare environment.
