We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full-Time Physiotherapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assessing, developing, and implementing personalized treatment plans to improve patients’ mobility, strength, and overall well-being. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine functional limitations and treatment needs
- Develop and execute individualized physiotherapy treatment plans aligned with best practices and patient goals
- Provide hands-on therapy sessions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary for optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-care techniques, and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all patient interactions,
progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans for complex cases, including hospital staff when applicable
Qualifications
- Valid licensure or registration as a licensed Physiotherapist in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience working in hospital settings with exposure to acute care environments
- Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical assessment techniques
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team-oriented healthcare team
