Key Responsibilities:

Operative Responsibilities

Assist in fusing HDPE, moving and bolting up pumps for dewatering activities

Work with piping, mechanical crews to complete tasks such as rigging, welding and bolting pipe.

Working with and around Rig Welders as their helper (Welder Helper role)

Other duties as requested.

Safety

Participate in meetings, tool box talks, FLHA.

Report near miss, infractions and observations.

Communicate to promote a secure working environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must possess OSSA and CSTS

HDPE Fusing tickets considered an asset

Bear Awareness (INT level)

Equipment operation knowledge and experience.

Knowledge of general duties.

Previous construction experience an asset.

Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and able to quickly ascend or descend a vertical ladder.

Drivers License (Class 5)

Compensation:

As per Union Agreements with Local 488 and 955. Local incentive of $50.00/days worked nontaxed.

Shift:

6&1, 12&2, 18&3 . Other shifts such as 10x4 and 14x7 considered depending on workload.
