Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and implement PLC programs using industry-standard programming languages such as ladder logic, function block diagrams, or structured text.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to analyze system requirements and translate them into effective automation solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLC hardware and software to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and modifications to existing PLC systems to enhance functionality and efficiency.
- Document programming processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures clearly for future reference.
- Assist in commissioning new automation equipment by configuring PLCs and integrating them into existing systems.





Skills

- Proven experience in programming PLCs with platforms such as Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, or Schneider Electric Modicon.
- Strong understanding of industrial control systems, sensors, actuators, and communication protocols like Ethernet/IP or Profibus.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, control diagrams, and technical documentation accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting complex automation issues.
- Familiarity with HMI (Human-Machine Interface) integration for real-time system monitoring.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in industrial automation environments.
