Job Title: Principal Architect Key Skills: Agentic AI strategy and deep .NET engineering execution.
Experience: 12-15 Years’ experience Location: United States Coforge is seeking a Principal Architect to serve as the technical leader for critical client engagements, combining Agentic AI strategy with deep .NET engineering expertise. This is a hands-on, customer-facing leadership role responsible for driving AI-enabled platform transformation and delivery excellence. The role involves leading the end-to-end client onboarding process, transitioning the platform from a traditional rules-based engine to a sophisticated hybrid Agentic AI architecture.
Responsibilities include defining modernization strategies, establishing scalable AI-assisted delivery patterns, guiding engineering teams, and ensuring measurable business outcomes through innovative technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Agentic & Hybrid Architecture Design - Define the "Agentic Boundary": Analyze complex supply chain workflows to determine which processes should remain deterministic (rules-based) and which can be optimized through autonomous agents (LLM-based reasoning).
- Pattern Development: Prove and document repeatable delivery patterns that integrate Agentic AI into legacy .NET environments.
- Integration: Lead the technical integration strategy between new client requirements and the core platform capabilities. Client-Facing Leadership - Discovery & Strategy: Lead high-stakes discovery workshops with client stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate business pain points into technical solutions.
- Sprint Orchestration: Own sprint planning and technical backlog grooming, ensuring the engineering team remains aligned with the hybrid delivery model.
Full-Stack Engineering Oversight - Back-End Mastery: Guide the development of high-performance .NET services designed to act as "Tools" that AI agents can autonomously invoke (Function Calling).
- Front-End Innovation: Oversee the creation of "Human-in-the-Loop" (HITL) interfaces, utilizing AI-enabled workflows (like Figma-to-code) to accelerate the UI/UX cycle. Quality & Release Excellence - Zero-Manual Vision: Enforce an automation-first strategy, maximizing automated validation while maintaining appropriate manual and business-user testing.
- Hypercare & Deployment: Coordinate release readiness and lead "Hypercare" phases post-deployment to ensure the agentic loops are performing as expected in live supply chain environments.
Required Skills & Experience Technical Depth - Engineering: 12+ years in the Microsoft stack (.NET Core/8, C#, Azure). Deep understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture, and RESTful API design.
- Agentic AI: Hands-on experience delivering GenAI solutions using orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or equivalent.
- Data Science Pairing: Proven ability to pair with Data Science teams to define integration contracts and manage non-deterministic system behaviors. Domain & Strategy - Supply Chain / Final Mile: Robust preference for candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse management, or last-mile delivery systems.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to bridge the gap between "Rules-Based Engineering" and "Agentic Data Science" for executive-level reviews (CFO/Board). Tooling & Process - Automation: Expert-level knowledge of Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
- DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD gates, telemetry, and Microsoft architectural review standards.
