Qualifications

Saskatchewan Skilled A Teacher's Certificate (or confirmation of eligibility)

Bachelor of Education and a Master of Education in a related field.

Knowledge and experience applying best practices in the areas of instruction, curriculum,land-based learning and assessment

Knowledge of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit languages, histories, and cultures

Demonstrated ability to work well within a team as well as independently The Preferred Candidate will have:





Familiarity and experience with Northern issues

Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience

Minimum of five years of successful administrative experience

Experience at the elementary school level

Strong instructional leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Familiarity and experience with Indigenous education, culture and languages(s)
