Georgian Hose & Supply, a division of Omniflex Hose & Equipment, is a family owned company which has serviced Collingwood and surrounding areas for over 30 years. We are an industrial supply company that specializes in the distribution of industrial and heavy duty components including hydraulic hose, fittings and couplings as well as hand and power tools, pumps and related products. Georgian Hose is looking to hire a full-time Production Assistant in Collingwood, Ontario.

As our recent Production Associate, you will have an exciting, hands-on role with a lot of day to day variety. If you’re mechanically inclined and enjoy working with tools and people, this is the job for you:

You’ll work in our branch to

Pick and package customer orders for shipment

Assist walk in customers picking up orders

Take calls from customers and suppliers

Assist with shipping and receiving to include loading and unloading trucks. Fork lift training an asset.

Assemble industrial hoses per customer specifications (after training). Experience with hose assemble and fittings would be desirable.

Skills/Experience/Qualifications





Positive attitude with excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer service.

Comfortable with multi-tasking – not afraid of a fast paced environment.

Proficient with computers and Microsoft programs. Experience with Prophet 21 an asset.

Mechanically inclined with experience working with hands, light tools and equipment.

High school diploma.

Valid drivers license with no convictions or restrictions.

Able to lift up to 50lbs.
