Position Summary The Production Worker is responsible for assembling and packaging products efficiently and accurately according to established specifications. This role supports secure production operations, maintains quality standards, and contributes to meeting daily production targets.
What You'll Do!
- Ensure workplace safety by following all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently according to SOPs and quality standards.
- Assemble and package products accurately based on established specifications.
- Inspect finished products to identify defects and maintain quality compliance.
- Monitor and maintain machinery by reporting abnormalities and performing basic routine upkeep.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and production guidelines consistently.
- Participate in training, continuous improvement initiatives, and other assigned duties.
What We Need From You!
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
- Reliability and Accountability: Show up prepared, dependable, and ready to meet production demands.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure products are assembled and packaged accurately to meet quality standards.
- Teamwork:
Work collaboratively with supervisors and coworkers to achieve daily targets.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment: Adapt to changing priorities and maintain efficiency throughout the shift.
- Physical capability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or assembly is an asset.
- Experience operating production or warehouse equipment is preferred.
- Operational knowledge of power tools.
- Basic knowledge of computer and production‑tracking systems.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Must provide a clean Criminal Record Check within the last 6 months.
- Basic English is required.
