Job Summary

This position requires a self motivated/high energy individual with experience working directly with persons with an intellectual disability in a recreation/leisure or day program setting. Applicants should possess a post secondary education or a combination of relevant education and experience. The ideal candidate should possess a valid class 4 mini bus licence, clean drivers abstract and a valid First Aid and CPR certificate or the willingness to obtain in a prompt time frame upon hiring.

Qualifications

Applicants must have the ability to work independently as well as with a team, show initiative and creativity in the planning and implementation of program activities. This position requires the successful candidate to plan and implement day programming, for individuals with intellectual disabilities. This will be done in collaboration with fellow program supervisors under the supervision of the Program Manager.

This is a salaried contract position with a salary of $ 55 221 per year based on 35 hours per week.

Pay: $18.68-$37.94 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
