The Project Coordinator ensures that all sales orders are shipped on time, complete in scope, and meet or exceed customer specifications and expectations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for both internal and external teams regarding sales orders

Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned):

· Apply Agile project management principles to manage workflows, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing requirements.

· Manage end-to-end process flow of sales orders.

· Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Production Control, Technical Support, etc.) to ensure all departments understand the scope, document submission milestones, and deliverables from inception to completion.

· Review sales order specifications for completeness and accurately enter orders into the AS400 system.

· Obtain vendor and internal factory quotations as needed.

· Monitor and track workflow from order entry to shipping, ensuring all steps are completed for on-time delivery.





· Develop and maintain production schedules, clearly communicating timelines and milestone tasks to internal teams and process owners.

· Report potential delays promptly to customers, the Sumitomo Engineering team, and relevant stakeholders.

· Ensure budgets are maintained and sales orders remain within quoted margins.

· Review outline drawings as required.

· Prepare and issue detailed work orders to the shop, including assembly instructions.

· Manage documentation to ensure full traceability.

· Support Quality Assurance and assist with customer-requested documentation for assigned sales orders.

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives and execute approved ideas.

· Perform other duties assigned by the PM Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

· College Mechanical Engineering Technologist diploma.

· Knowledge of rotating equipment, such as gearboxes, is preferred.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).

· Must be able to work in an Agile and fast-paced, multitasking environment.

· Ability to work in a team environment and be a participative team member.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Must be fluent in English, written and verbal. French is an asset.





· This position might require periodic travel if necessary.
