To participate in (individually or as part of a team) all engineering, and project management functions related to specific projects including:

· Design

· Customer liaison

· Specification and sourcing

· Technical data creation

· Production support

· Schedule management

Responsibilities

· Assist the business development team with technical support and resource estimates to allow for the generation of accurate bids and proposals

· Create and manage a project schedule which includes critical milestones

· Participate in design/production reviews as necessary

· Manage technical aspects of a project (design, analysis, certification, etc.) as part of a team which includes customers and vendors





· Create technical data and specifications as required to complete projects in accordance with customer expectations

· Provide sourcing support for non-standard materials and hardware

· Provide production support (internally)

· Provide product support (externally)

Requirements

· Engineering degree/diploma obtained through a post-secondary institution

· Prior experience in the field of aviation would be an asset

· Some experience in a manufacturing environment would be an asset

· Experience in customer service is preferred

· Knowledge of computation design tools (CAD, FEA, etc.) is a definite asset

· Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English

· Must have a good attitude and possess strong communication and people skills

· Must be willing to travel
