Project Engineer

Verterra Shoring Ltd. is a growing shoring and deep foundation specialist contractor with proven success in the residential, commercial and infrastructure sectors. Our clients included many of the top construction general contractors and management firms operating in the Greater Toronto and surrounding area.

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to fulfill the role of construction project manager

Responsibilities may include

· Manage and be responsible for overall project success.

· Liaison with clients and engineering teams as required to optimize and solve project needs

· Perform detailed estimates from tender documents

· Work closely with site superintendents and estimating team to ensure construction schedule and productions are met

· Maintaining project schedules,



including tracking time and materials for claims

· Coordinating project submittals

· Tracking and documenting project cost reports

· Assist with procurement of construction materials and supplies

· Perform detailed estimates from tender documents

Qualifications/Attributes

· Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Civil Technology

· Ability to read and understand project drawings and specifications

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, Access and Outlook

· Valid Class "G" Driver’s License

· Ability to operate in high stress setting
