We are looking for experienced Project Managers for 6-month contract positions, with possible extensions , in Calgary, Alberta . Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Position is available as hybrid. 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week.

Role Description

Our client is growing its IT project management capacity, with an immediate need to support SAP-related initiatives, alongside other technology and enterprise programs.

The Project Manager will work cross-functionally with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to keep delivery on track, while adapting to shifting priorities in a quick-moving environment.

Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects, including SAP-related initiatives, from initiation through closeout
- Manage vendor relationships and hold external partners accountable to scope, schedule, and quality commitments
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reporting
- Identify risks and issues, and drive timely resolution
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, technical resources, and third-party vendors
- Adapt project plans and priorities in response to evolving business needs
- Facilitate clear, consistent communication across project teams and leadership
- Apply project management best practices pragmatically,

Required Skills and Experience

- Proven experience managing IT projects; experience with SAP implementations or migrations is a strong asset
- Strong vendor management skills, with experience holding external partners accountable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to shifting priorities and ambiguity
- Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, team-first approach — not a "my way or the highway" style
- Process-driven mindset balanced with practical flexibility; comfortable adapting methodology to the situation rather than following a rigid playbook

Desired Skills and Experience

- PMP or PMBOK-aligned training is an asset (practical, adaptable delivery experience is valued over strict textbook methodology)
- Experience in construction, engineering, or related industries is an asset
