Job Title: Project Manager Location: Alliston, Ontario Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with robust expertise in engine manufacturing, die casting, machining, and assembly line equipment . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience taking manufacturing equipment projects from concept and design through manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and production launch .

The candidate will work closely with Production Engineering teams, equipment suppliers, global vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end manufacturing equipment projects from concept through production launch.
- Develop and review equipment specifications for:
- Engine die-casting line equipment
- Engine die-cast machining line equipment

- Engine assembly line equipment
- Create and interpret pneumatic and hydraulic drawings related to equipment functionality.
- Develop equipment concepts and designs using SolidWorks.
- Take equipment designs from concept through manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and production readiness.
- Perform basic engineering calculations to properly size machine components.
- Analyze equipment and design-related problems and implement effective improvements.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with customer Production Engineering teams, equipment suppliers, and global vendors.




- Ensure timely equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, and production readiness.
- Lead and support FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), SAT (Site Acceptance Testing), commissioning, production trials, and launch activities.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Communicate project status, issues, timelines, and risks to stakeholders.
- Ensure projects meet technical, quality, safety, cost, and schedule requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

- 13 15 years of relevant engineering/project management experience.
- Strong understanding of engine manufacturing lines.
- Experience with engine die casting, machining, and assembly line equipment.
- Experience creating and reviewing equipment specification documents.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic drawings.
- Experience developing concepts using SolidWorks.
- Experience taking designs from concept through manufacturing and installation.
- Ability to perform basic engineering calculations for machine component sizing.
- Strong problem-solving and equipment improvement skills.
- Proven project management experience.
- Experience managing schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and stakeholders.
- Experience coordinating with Production Engineering teams, equipment suppliers, and global vendors.
- Experience with FAT, SAT, commissioning, production trials, and production launch.
