Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Building Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of our facility. This role is vital in ensuring the building functions efficiently, safely, and sustainably, providing a comfortable workplace for all occupants. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, technical expertise in industrial systems, and a passion for leadership.

You will coordinate maintenance activities, supervise technical staff, and implement projects that enhance building performance. Your energetic approach will help foster a positive environment while maintaining high standards of safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

- Oversee all aspects of building operations, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and low voltage systems
- Manage maintenance schedules and ensure timely repairs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and asset histories
- Supervise maintenance teams and external contractors to ensure quality work and adherence to safety protocols
- Develop and implement project management plans for upgrades or renovations, coordinating resources effectively
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals related to industrial systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues with mechanical or electrical equipment and address them proactively
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including electrical codes, HVAC regulations,



and industrial maintenance best practices
- Lead emergency response efforts related to building systems failures or safety incidents, communicating effectively with emergency responders when necessary
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and project progress for accountability and continuous improvement

Skills

- Proven management and supervisory experience in building operations or industrial maintenance environments
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems (including low voltage), schematics interpretation, and industrial equipment
- Experience working with CMMS platforms for maintenance tracking and reporting
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation
- Effective communication skills in English to facilitate clear instructions and reporting
- Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical work, HVAC systems, low voltage wiring, and general industrial maintenance
