Jayne Industries Inc is currently seeking to fill a current full time vacancy for a:

PUNCH PRESS OPERATOR

SHIFT: This position will rotate every two weeks between days and afternoons.

- Set up and operate punch presses from 45 to 120 tons.
- Perform die installation, removal, setup, and changeovers.
- Set up and adjust decoilers and PA Industries feeder systems.
- Run thin-gauge steel coil material through production equipment.
- Adjust press, die, and feeder settings to maintain proper operation and part quality.
- Inspect finished parts throughout production to ensure they meet specifications.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic die, feeding, alignment, and press-operation issues.
- Follow production schedules and maintain expected production rates.
- Complete production and quality documentation.




- Safely operate a tow motor/forklift and overhead crane as required for material and tooling handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and safe operating procedures.
- Work cooperatively with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supervisory personnel.
- Be willing to learn, train on, and operate other machine assets throughout the facility as required to support production requirements.

1. Ensure compliance with all health and safety rules, policies and the Act.
2. Other duties as assigned by the VP of sales and marketing

- Minimum 5 years of punch press/stamping experience.
- Proven experience performing punch press die setups and changeovers.
- Experience operating mechanical punch presses.
- Experience with coil-fed sheet metal production.
- Experience with decoilers and material feeder systems.
- Previous tow motor/forklift operating experience.
- Previous overhead crane operating experience.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and understand production drawings and work instructions.
- Ability to use measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.




- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness and ability to be trained on and operate other machinery and equipment within the facility.

- Ability to work a rotating day and afternoon shift.
- Ability to stand for extended periods while operating production equipment.
- Ability to safely handle and position sheet metal, dies, tooling, and production materials.

- Ability to perform die changes and related setup activities.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry materials and tooling as required.
- Ability to safely operate tow motor/forklift and overhead crane equipment.

- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment around operating machinery.
