Maintain and track laboratory inventory, including chemicals, consumables, reagents, and reference standards. Implement and follow procedures for receiving, labeling, storing, and documenting laboratory materials. Monitor stock levels and coordinate procurement to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Ensure chemicals are handled, stored, and disposed of in accordance with internal policies and applicable safety guidelines. Maintain organized storage areas and inventory databases or logs. Assist with vendor communication, ordering, and restocking.

Work collaboratively with laboratory staff to anticipate material needs and resolve inventory-related issues. Support compliance efforts by keeping accurate records and participating in audits or inspections as required.

Qualifications Experience working in a laboratory, manufacturing, or inventory-related environment an asset. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Familiarity with chemical safety, handling practices, or regulatory guidelines preferred. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical teams. Comfort using inventory management systems or basic digital tracking tools.

Additional Details

This job has a full time weekly schedule. The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $17.10 - $29.93/hr CAD plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. During the hiring process, a recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for a preferred location.
