Responsibilities

- Maintain ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, CQI-11, and CQI-12 compliance and coordinate internal and external audits.

- Supervise and train quality staff while ensuring impartial decisions, accurate records, protected chemical handling, proper PPE use, and laboratory housekeeping.

- Oversee inspection, calibration, and testing for coating thickness and weight, metal content, corrosion, adhesion, torque-tension, friction, and oven temperature.

- Operate equipment including the Kistler ANALYSE-B 500, XRF, eddy-current, X-ray, and magnetic-induction testers.

- Monitor product, process, environmental, and safety compliance.

- Lead customer complaints and 8D corrective actions; analyze rejects, test results, and process capability; and report findings to management.

- Prepare PPAP packages, including PSWs, process flows, PFMEAs, control plans, capability studies, MSA, test reports, and certificates.

- Create and maintain IMDS records; review supplier declarations; and manage PPAP/IMDS submissions, revisions, approvals,



and customer portals in accordance with GADSL and customer requirements.

- Liaise with customers, suppliers, auditors, laboratories, chemical providers, and accreditation bodies.

Qualifications

- Quality leadership experience in electroplating, coatings, automotive, or similar regulated manufacturing.

- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, PPAP, IMDS, auditing, calibration, corrective action, and laboratory testing.

- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, data-analysis, technical-reporting, statistical, leadership, and communication skills.

- Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience.

- Able to work independently, stand for prolonged periods, and provide occasional after-hours support.

Preferred Experience

- APQP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, Power BI, Minitab, Power Query, and AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude is an asset.

Pay: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
