Brightstar Law is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented lawyer to join our growing boutique practice.

We are a boutique Ontario law firm committed to delivering high-quality legal work and a seamless client experience. We prioritize professionalism, strong communication, and efficient file management. Our team environment allows lawyers to focus on substantive legal work while working collaboratively to maintain high standards across every file.

This is a remote position but preference may be given to candidates who can attend the office on an occasional basis. All necessary equipment will be provided. Attendance at our downtown Toronto office may be required for training and occasional meetings.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from start to finish
- Review Agreements of Purchase and Sale and advise clients on legal implications and risk
- Oversee title and off-title searches and closing documentation
- Identify, assess, and resolve transactional issues
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, lenders, realtors, and opposing counsel
- Draft wills and handle basic estate planning matters
- Provide practical,



client-focused legal advice in both real estate and estates matters

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years’ experience practicing real estate law in Ontario
- Minimum 2 years’ experience drafting wills and handling basic estate planning matters
- Strong knowledge of Ontario conveyancing procedures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Confident communicator with sound professional judgment
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario

Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
