Position: Recruiter - Temporary Position (Potential for Full-Time Conversion) Location: Prince Edward Island Who we are Revolution Recruiting serves as the dedicated in-house recruiting partner for three leading healthcare organizations: Murphy's Pharmacies, Andrews Senior Care, and Atlantic Medical Centres, along with their related businesses. About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced recruiter with a strong administrative background to join our team on a full-time, temporary basis. This role offers the opportunity to transition to a permanent position for the right candidate who demonstrates excellence and aligns with our organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities As our Healthcare Recruiter, you will:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for various healthcare positions while maintaining productive administrative systems - Screen, interview, and assess candidates for clinical and non-clinical healthcare roles - Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates - Maintain accurate applicant-tracking records and recruitment databases - Prepare offer letters, job postings,
and other recruitment-related documentation - Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, educational institutions, and professional associations - Stay current on healthcare industry trends, licensing requirements, and regulatory considerations affecting recruitment - Coordinate and track immigration applications for current and future employees - Liaise with immigration consultants, lawyers, and government agencies as needed - Maintain accurate records of immigration status and documentation for all international hires - Provide guidance and support to candidates navigating the immigration process - Manage recruitment documentation and workflows using SharePoint - Leverage Microsoft 365 tools and Copilot to enhance productivity and streamline processes - Maintain organized digital filing systems and collaborative workspaces - Support benefit and pension administration for new hires and existing employees, ensuring accurate enrollment and record-keeping Required Qualifications - Proven experience in healthcare recruitment, whether in agency, corporate, or institutional settings - Strong administrative and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail - Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
for managing candidate pipelines and recruitment workflows - Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 Suite, including SharePoint for document management and collaboration - Experience using Microsoft Copilot to optimize workflow efficiency - Knowledge of healthcare roles, certifications, and licensing requirements - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders - Knowledge of PEI immigration processes and programs, or a strong willingness and ability to learn immigration requirements and procedures quickly Preferred Qualifications - Experience recruiting regulated healthcare professionals such as nurses, pharmacists, and allied health workers - Familiarity with the healthcare systems and recruitment landscape of the Atlantic provinces - Previous experience managing immigration support for international healthcare workers - Understanding of work permit requirements and credential recognition processes for healthcare professionals - Advanced skills in automating recruitment using M365 tools and AI-assisted features What We Offer This position offers a flexible part-time schedule with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role based on performance and organizational needs; a collaborative work environment supported by modern technology tools; training and support for PEI immigration processes as needed; and the chance to make a meaningful impact on healthcare staffing in the Atlantic provinces.
