Cardiac Sonographer (Part-Time)

Position Overview

Heart and Health Clinic is seeking a skilled and motivated Cardiac Sonographer to join our growing outpatient cardiology team in Cambridge. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to transition into full-time for candidates who are open to supporting additional clinic locations within our network.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms in accordance with clinic protocols and accreditation standards
- Ensure accurate image acquisition and preliminary reporting for physician interpretation
- Maintain proper documentation and workflow within EMR systems
- Collaborate with cardiologists and clinic staff to support efficient patient care
- Adhere to all infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards

Qualifications

- Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program
- Active registration in good standing (e.g., Sonography Canada / ARDMS preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (preferred)




- Proficiency in performing and optimizing cardiac imaging independently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting
