for Registered Adult and Couples Therapist

At Ethos Psychotherapy and Assessment Centre, we are currently seeking a fully Registered Psychologist, Social Worker, or Psychotherapist to provide couples therapy and individual therapy with teens and adults. This position is a part-time (15 hours/week) contractor position and is a hybrid of in-person and virtual therapy.

We are a growing practice that provides culturally-competent psychotherapy and psychoeducational assessments to children, adolescents, and adults. We use strength-based approaches and treatment modalities that honour a person’s journey through trauma, grief/loss, and life transitions. We believe in the power of feeling understood holistically as a main driver of change.

We are located in Port Credit, Mississauga at 20 Stavebank Road, Unit 201, on the West side of Stavebank Road, North of Lakeshore Road between Hurontario Street and Mississauga Road.

There are many different shifts available including:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday days (9-3pm);

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings (3-9pm).

Qualifications

- The ideal candidate has a Masters degree and is Registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario, the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, or the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
- Minimum 3 years of therapy experience
- Training and experience in Gottman and/or Emotionally-Focused Couples therapy is preferred
- Training and experience in CBT, IPT, ACT, or Emotionally-Focused Therapy is an asset
