Duties
- Deliver high-quality massage therapy sessions tailored to each client’s individual needs, utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, or sports massage.
- Assess clients’ health histories and current conditions to develop effective treatment plans.
- Maintain clear communication with clients before, during, and after sessions to ensure comfort and satisfaction.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to enhance results.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical information using professional terminology.
- Ensure all equipment and treatment areas are sanitized and maintained according to health standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits and positive client relationships.
Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Massage Therapist with the appropriate licensing or certification body in your region.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to health conditions and massage therapy practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver compassionate care while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Prior experience in customer service or client-facing roles is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced setting.
