The Sudbury Counselling Centre is seeking a dynamic and independent individual to fill the following position:

Social Service Worker / Registered Social Worker / Registered Psychotherapist

REQUIREMENTS:

· Diploma or bachelor’s degree from an accredited post-secondary institution.

· Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) or the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).

· Successful completion of police records check - Vulnerable sector screening.

· English: Fluent French: functional / an asset.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:

· Knowledge of general counselling theories, approaches and techniques.

· Experience in individual and group crisis intervention is an asset.

· Experience in facilitating psycho-educational workshops.

· Formal training in cognitive-behavioural therapy and experience in delivering cognitive-behavioural therapy is an asset.

Working Conditions:

· Working hours: 35 hours per week from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. some evenings depending on programming needs.

· Work location: 260 Cedar Street, Sudbury, ON P3B 1M7.

· Salary is based on the collective agreement pay scale and depends on education and experience, from $49,580.10 per year for College Diploma and from $55,968.84 for BSW per year.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Counsellor is responsible for providing one-on-one individual counselling sessions and facilitating psychoeducational group sessions in various programs, amongst others. The Counsellor will offer in-person sessions at the office and remotely via telephone and/or virtual.

Le Centre de counselling de Sudbury est à la recherche d’une personne dynamique et indépendante pour combler le poste suivant :

Technicien ou Technicienne en Travail Social; Travail social agrée; Psychothérapeute agréé

EXIGENCES :

· Diplôme ou baccalauréat d'un établissement d'enseignement postsecondaire agréé.

· Inscription auprès de l'Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des techniciens en travail social de l'Ontario (OTTSSO) ou de l'Ordre des psychothérapeutes autorisés de l'Ontario (OPAO).

· Vérification des antécédents judiciaires réussie - Vérification des antécédents en vue d'un travail auprès de personnes vulnérables.

· Anglais : courant Français : fonctionnel / un atout.

CONNAISSANCES SPÉCIALISÉES :

· Connaissance des théories, approches et techniques générales en counselling.

· L’expérience en intervention de crise individuelle et de groupe constitue un atout.

· L’expérience dans l’animation d’ateliers psychoéducatifs.





· Une formation officielle en thérapie cognitivo-comportementale et de l’expérience dans l’application de cette approche constituent un atout.

Conditions de travail:

· Heures de travail : 35h par semaine de 8h30 à 16h30, quelques soirs, selon les besoins de programmation.

· Lieu de travail : 260 rue Cedar, Sudbury ON P3B 1M7.

· Le salaire est basé sur l'échelle salariale de la convention collective et dépend de l'éducation et de l'expérience : à partir de 49 580,10 $ par an pour le diplôme collégial et à partir de 55 968,84 $ pour le BSW par an.

RESPONSABILITÉS :

La conseillère ou le conseiller est responsable d’offrir des séances de counseling individuel et d’animer des séances de groupe psychoéducatives dans le cadre de divers programmes, entre autres. La personne titulaire du poste offrira des séances en personne au bureau ainsi qu’à distance, par téléphone et/ou en mode virtuel.
