Duties
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Perform laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic assays, utilizing laboratory experience to support accurate diagnoses.
- Administer medications, vaccines, cytopoint/librela injections and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian with precision and care. Assist with emergencies along with routine medicine and surgery.
- Perform & Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery during surgical procedures to ensure safety and comfort.Perform dental rads, scaling, polishing and assisting with dental surgeries.
- Maintain detailed medical records of all patient interactions, treatments, and laboratory results in compliance with clinic protocols.

Skills
- Proven laboratory experience with proficiency in conducting diagnostic tests accurately.
- Strong understanding of veterinary medical procedures, pharmacology, and animal handling techniques.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, team members, and pet owners.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Compassionate approach combined with professionalism when caring for animals of all sizes and temperaments.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely while demonstrating initiative when appropriate.
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician is required; additional certifications or specialized training are advantageous.
