Join APEGA as a Regulatory Exam Writer in Edmonton, focusing on the development and validation of examination content for professional Engineers and Geoscientists. This full-time role ensures high-quality assessments meet rigorous standards. Reporting to the Examinations Manager, this position supports the National Professional Practice Examination (NPPE).
You will contribute by developing examination questions that reflect ethical, regulatory, and qualified practices in engineering. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with the Professional Practice Exam Screening Committee (PPESG) and conducting item analysis to enhance question quality. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality exam content
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis for new NPPE questions
- Apply revisions based on performance data insights
- Integrate feedback and handle secure question workflows
- Collaborate with APEGA staff and subject matter experts Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree in communications or related field
- 5-8 years relevant experience in exam preparation
- Proficient in technical and business writing
- Strong project management skills
