Clinique OVO, a member of The Fertility Partners (TFP), is a leading fertility clinic providing comprehensive assisted reproductive technology and reproductive medicine services.

Research and innovation play an important role at Clinique OVO. Our R&D; team is involved in a diverse portfolio of clinical and observational research projects, in collaboration with physicians, researchers, universities, and industry partners across Canada and internationally.

We are currently seeking a Research Assistant – Biostatistics & Scientific Writing to join our R&D; team.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Director of R&D; Operations, the successful candidate will actively contribute to a variety of research projects in the fields of fertility and reproductive medicine.

This position combines responsibilities in biostatistics, data analysis, and scientific writing. The successful candidate will work closely with members of the R&D; team, physicians, and researchers to transform research data into meaningful scientific results and publications.

Key Responsibilities

Biostatistics & Data Analysis

- Participate in the preparation and cleaning of research databases;
- Conduct descriptive and inferential statistical analyses;
- Perform statistical analyses according to the objectives and analysis plans of various research projects;
- Contribute to the selection of appropriate statistical methods;
- Interpret statistical results in collaboration with researchers and clinicians;
- Prepare tables, figures, and statistical results for reports, abstracts, and manuscripts;
- Ensure the quality and consistency of data and analyses.

Scientific Writing & Publications

- Contribute to the preparation and writing of abstracts, posters, and scientific presentations;




- Contribute to the preparation of manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals;
- Conduct literature searches and integrate relevant scientific evidence;
- Review and format manuscripts and scientific documents;
- Participate in the preparation and submission of abstracts and manuscripts to scientific conferences and journals;
- Contribute to responses to reviewers' comments.

Research & Methodology

- Participate in the design and development of research projects;
- Contribute to the definition of study variables, endpoints, and analytical methods;
- Participate in the preparation and review of research protocols and study documents;
- Support retrospective, prospective, and multicentre research projects within the R&D; team;
- Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timelines are met.

Collaboration & Project Support

- Work closely with physicians, researchers, and members of the R&D; team;
- Participate in project meetings and present results when required;
- Maintain clear and organized documentation of analyses and research activities;
- Perform other related duties as required to support R&D; activities.

Qualifications

- Master's degree (MSc) in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field;
- 2–5 years of experience in clinical or biomedical research is preferred;
- Experience in data analysis and statistical methods;
- Proficiency in at least one statistical software or programming language such as R, SAS, or Python;




- Excellent scientific writing skills in English;
- Strong ability to read, critically assess, and interpret scientific literature;
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Ability to work independently;
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English;
- Experience with scientific publications;
- Experience in reproductive medicine, fertility, or clinical research is an asset;
- PhD in biostatistics, epidemiology, or a related field is an asset.

Work Environment

- Full-time position, Monday to Friday;
- 37.5 hours per week;
- Based at Clinique OVO in Montréal.
